Its been so long since I last read through these
stories that coming back to them has been like a new read all over
again. I admit that when I started book 6, Lessons in Obedience, its
different start from the others made me fear briefly that the foundation
of the series itself might have changed. I feared much as Ethan feared
the sudden change in Max that occurs in the first few chapters.
Now, however, I've realized my worries were unfounded. As always, the passionate trust between Max and Ethan goes beyond the boundaries of my expectations. Their relationship provokes my sentimentality and leaves me feeling nostalgic. Oddly enough, though I read this story when it was available on Juxtapose Fantasy, the only part I remembered was the concluding chapters. And even then it was only vaguely, as I wasn't sure until the beginning of chapter 9 that the scene I recalled was in this particular book.
Once again you've worked me over with your magic, arousing my controversial romantic delusions and encouraging me towards mental debauchery. I'm delightfully anticipating the next stage of Max and Ethan's love story, especially since I'm fairly certain I never got to finish more than a few chapters before my extended absence from JF. Keep the words a-flowing, and the sex abounding darling!
